June 18: On this day in 1964, Bob Rouse was born in Surrey, British Columbia. Rouse became a Leaf in 1991 and suffered through two difficult seasons when the club failed to miss the playoffs. He became a key figure in the dramatic turnaround the Leafs experienced in 1993 and 1994 when they went to the Conference Finals in two consecutive years. Falling just short as a Leaf, Rouse signed as a free agent with the Red Wings where he won two Stanley Cups in 1997 and 1998.
