July 26: On this day in 1960, Norm Aubin was born in St. Leonard, Quebec. Aubin was drafted by the Leafs in the 3rd round, 51st overall in 1979 and broke into the NHL as a natural goal scorer. Aubin scored 7 goals in his first 11 games with the Leafs during the 1981-82 season, but fizzled after that. He ended up playing just 69 games in the NHL, all with the Leafs, scoring a total of 18 goals. His last Leaf game was on December 11, 1982 after which he was demoted to the minors, never to return to the NHL.
