August 17: On this day in 1961, Jamie Macoun was born in Newmarket, Ontario. Macoun came to the Leafs in the huge 10 player deal of January, 1992 and remained as a steady Leaf rearguard until 1998. In all, he played 466 games with Toronto. Before and after his days in Toronto, Macoun won a Stanley Cup with the Calgary Flames in 1989 and then again with Detroit in 1998.
