On This Day September 21st.

September 21: On this day in 1946, the Leafs acquired a key component in the construction of their dynasty of the late 1940's. Harry Watson came to the Leafs from Detroit in exchange for Billy Taylor. It turned out to be a highly favourable trade for the Leafs. Watson played exactly 550 games for Toronto through the end of 1954 helping the Leafs to four Stanley Cup victories.
