April 27: On this day in 1993, former popular Leaf right-winger Mike Foligno was the hero, scoring one of his biggest ever NHL goals as the Leafs edged the Red Wings 5-4 at 2:05 of overtime in Game 5 of their opening round series that ended up going a full, hard-fought seven games. All three playoff series in which the Leafs played in 1993 went the full seven games with other overtime heroes along the way.
